The internal polling must be brutal.
Yes it is brutal and is showing that Paxton will easily win which is why no one wants to throw money at a campaign that is already easily winning.

Again.....there isn't a choice here, at least by rational, normal, hard working people. You may not like Paxton, but do you dislike him so much that you vote for literally communism? If so, then you were a liberal anyway. Also, not voting, if you are republican, is a vote for the commies. Common sense 101.

it's politico, so assume the opposite that queer aint winning texas.
Yep, and DU members pushing their stories pretending to be unaffiliated with their "concerns"

Agree, which is why though there may be zero yard signs being displayed for Paxton (I haven't seen one yet), and the virtue signalers proudly have theirs out for Talerico, Paxton should still win at the end of the day.

The idiots who are donating to the MAGA PAC are simply giving money to Donald Trump. He is going to pocket most of that.
Posted on 8/24/26 at 12:33 pm to ragincajun03
Trump should keep all of the money and not give any GOP candidates his money. Theres no point in throwing it away on losers like Paxton. Trump should just take it because the money was donated to him, not useless losers.

Texans generally don't want to declare publicly their vote for Paxton because of how much a POS he is, but the majority showing up at the polls will vote against Talerico, I predict.
If one’s candidate is a known POS that people are embarrassed or ashamed to be associated with, maybe one should consider voting for someone else vs loyalty to party over country

Except Trump is the one who elevated Paxton to the nomination.

Will the Louisianans that moved to texas here be allowed to post under talaria law?

Are you really in your feels because I said it was going to be a close race?
Posted on 8/24/26 at 1:11 pm to ragincajun03
bullshite article by Politico. If it WAS a remotely close race the Democrats would be throwing money at Talerico. The fact is they aren’t because they know he has no choice. They want Trump to misallocate his campaign funds to a safe senate seat and away from a more competitive race that Trumps cash could sway.

With Ken, you can never be really sure where that donor money is going.

Trump hated Cornyn, so endorsing Paxton helped to get rid of Cornyn. That endorsement doesn't require Trump to throw away his money on Paxton. If Paxton was a decent candidate, he would have no problem raising money in Texas. Nobody likes that arsehole.

Talarico ads are being played non-stop in Texas

well he won in 2022 by a million votes for his third term and beat george p bush by 30 points and his democrat challenger by 20 points. the smoke has swirling around paxton was just as thick then as it is now. it's been swirling around him since 2015 and it's establishment bush republicans behind it.
he had no right to beat george p. bush by 30 points and calling out dade phelan for being a drunk.
a closeted homosexual won't stand a chance.
take heart the texas tribune is ready to believe you!
