Given how much Talarico is having to spend time courting Black voters, we have assume the internal numbers are not looking good there. He’s exactly the type of Dem candidate that turns Black and Hispanic men’s stomachs. Crockett’s lack of endorsement really hurts there.

You're 100% right. His outreach clown is as much of a joke as he is as a candidate.. Hopefully those results hold. Imagine having a Dem as a TX Senator

You’re bad at drawing analogies. There is nothing similar for Paxton in this race as in 2022.

you'll need to to be a little more specific jane, these same allegations have been swirling around paxton since 2015, at least he's divorced the wife he was cheating on. like i said talarico will get yours and george p's vote and dade phalan's.

you think dade phalan's impeachment over calling him out for being drunk on the house floors hurts him, that was 2023, and he still beat the schit out of john cornyn in the runoff by 30 points.

You’re drawing the analogies, old man. Why do you continue to compare this race to 2022 and not 2018? I think I know why.

If one’s candidate is a known POS that people are embarrassed or ashamed to be associated with, maybe one should consider voting for someone else vs loyalty to party over country

It's not loyalty to party, it's loyalty to common sense.

It doesn't take much to see that talarico is a heretical "Christian" who pushes the trans agenda, welfare state, open borders, soft on crime policies, and climate change.

He is your typical modern democrat. And that's what people are voting against. Voting for a party that doesn't share any of your values makes no sense no matter how bad the other candidate is.

The values of the democrat and republican parties are diametrically opposed. It's a vote for similar values, not loyalty to the party.

Have long time red hat friends in Texas and they are done with the current leadership. Texas sold out to big donors and tech bros. People are pissed and Paxton is a criminal. No more of the status quo. Trump was disruptor and new blood is needed. No more of these billionaire chucks like deboar and other boomers that don't care anymore. Time for granny and grandpa to age out. New blood.

Paxton is polling just one point ahead of Talarico, a recent Emerson College poll found.

Talarico has no shot at winning Texas.

but those things are super top secret on the poli board , we'll know soon enough jethrine and you'll just disappear.

The hubbub over that has mostly died down thankfully. I’m sure it’ll get resurrected come debate time.

specifically where Paxton himself is talking about who he is and what he represents.

The last thing you want is Paxton talking about who he is. Who he is is the only reason a candidate like Talarico has a chance in a state like Texas.

This is a ploy to goad them to spend on this that they will already win and not spend it in places where it could make the difference.

Then how exactly is a Trans supporter in Texas giving Paxton so much trouble (even Paxton has acknowledged how tight the polls are)? Is it maybe because he’s about as shitty a candidate as you can get? This isn’t hard dumb arse.
