Well, my premise is that there would be undeniable evidence to show a completely corrupt Democratic Party which would cause most D’s to reconsider allegiance.
You mean more than there already is? Do you see most Democrats reconsidering their allegiance?
Were you following politics when the blue dress was found? I thought that would change some minds, but it didn't. No smoking gun here will either.

Both parties are corrupt...the only way to keep things somewhat honest is for citizens to pay attention and hold people accountable.
There also needs to be Congressional term limits so these people can’t have influence for their entire lives. Finally, there needs to be lobbying restrictions once people leave public service.
There aren’t enough checks on activities around government to keep people honest.

Let’s assume that Obamagate and other current “conspiracy theories” are shown to have occurred by definitive/undeniable proof (for the record I believe they will). What then?
The media will not cover it... It will be shouted down at the highest levels... Oh and Republicans will not do a damn thing about it...

There will be a change. But it's nothing discussed here. Football fans know that when something works for a team (spread formation with QB in the shotgun) everyone copies it.
A bunch of CEOs are looking at what Trump has accomplished. They are seeing that people HATE career politicians. When Trump is gone you will see them come out of the woodwork. And, yes, there will be famous actors and TV personalities as well.

This. If our relationship with China, under both parties, doesn't tell you that our leaders are making money at our expense, I don't know what does.

I also think there will be some swampy R’s that will jump ship as well and join the more moderate Dems.
Only if the "moderate" dems are the majority. If not, they will continue on with the republicans, ensuring their agenda isn't implemented. I could make a list of names here, but it's infuriating, and depressing.

Jesse Ventura said that politics is like wrestling. In front of the cameras they’re mortal enemies. Behind the scenes they’re part of the same elite club.
I agree with him here, but Ventura is nuttier than squirrel shite.

Term limits needs to come with lobby reform, and the destruction of the bureaucracy that surrounds the legislature. If you implement term limits, those who influence and instruct the legislators become the defacto representatives. You don't want a 30 year bureaucrat telling representatives how things are done in Washington.

An awakening would be people realizing that politics is all theater to keep people distracted and divided. The real stuff happens behind the scenes.

Enact term limits. They are mostly on the same team D and R and they won’t allow a third party to emerge.
The people that blackmail and bribe almost every public face in DC would blackmail and bribe the new 3rd party too. The system is corrupt because people are corrupt. We won't fix the system from the top down.
We will have to, from the bottom up, produce people that will be virtuous enough and feel such a true affinity for their nation that they'll be incorruptible.
This is what's behind all of the anti-nationalist, diversity is our strength, white people are bad stuff. It's a concerted effort to deracinate us, make us weak, and destroy our sense of civic duty.

Especially for you, Zach. A future, political Big Player.

Yeah, but god dammit these GOP men are pro-life and pro-2A! Never mind that they sold out to China decades ago.

Do we see an attempt to reconcile and bring the nation together?
It depends on how much logic and redeeming value enough are able to find in "reaching across the aisle" to types who would compromise your nation right out from under you just to make a pretentious social statement.
