This was her question submitted during impeachment, handed to and read by Chief Justice Roberts himself...
quote:

”At a time when large majorities of Americans have lost faith in government, does the fact that the chief justice is presiding over an impeachment trial in which Republican senators have thus far refused to allow witnesses or evidence contribute to the loss of legitimacy of the chief justice, the Supreme Court, and the Constitution?”

After reading the question, Roberts gave Pocahontas a 15 second long glare...

I don't mind Roberts being humiliated by Pocahontas like that.

Maybe that will finally force him to understand that no matter how hard you try to be "above the fray" and "fair", the left will never accept you if you don't rule in their favor all the time and will only consider you to be fair and just if you rule in their favor.

We can hope.

It may, however, have the opposite effect. He may be reinforced in his belief that the Court must not upset the power players.

One thing, Roberts has always had a deference to the executive branch regardless of whether the chief executive was republican or democrat. I expect that to continue.

Also the following...
quote:

the loss of legitimacy of the chief justice, the Supreme Court, and the Constitution

Should be a red flag to everyone where Pocahontas and her fellow Prog Democrats are concerned.

That bitch is stone-cold crazy. The stuff she's been spewing lately seems to suggest that she is getting progressively worse.

The only republicans the left likes are either dead or the ones that constantly give their agenda the green light.

It should be clear to him by now.

Roberts has always had a deference to the executive branch regardless of whether the chief executive was republican or democrat. I expect that to continue.

He didn't have that attitude when he decided to block Trump from putting the citizen question on the census for this year. Practically said that the POTUS could do that but blocked it anyway because he didn't like their arguments.

So if the majority of American's have lost faith in the government then why would we want them to take over healthcare, tuition debt, rent control, gun legislation, ect?

Look no further than the Post office and military Medicaid for how government programs work in America.

Because it was controversial. A flashpoint.

He’s going to keep the Court’s protection in mind above everything else.

And Schiff defended Roberts saying "they" were to blame not Roberts.

We noticed that in the running thread and laughed.

Personally I think it was a really bad attempt by Warren to attempt to give Schiff a chance to stroke Roberts a bit, but if so it was the absolute worst way possible to word such an attempt.

And that's an example of a Democrat currently running for President.

Both parties at this point are pathetic. It frustrates me beyond belief these are the two groups of people I get the privilege (sarcasm) to vote for.

What in the ever living frick does any of that have to do with the subject of the trial?

Both? Don't get it confused. One party has decided to not help the other with a sham. If they had evidence that proved anything, you'd see Republicans jumping ship, not just to have witnesses, but to convict. Even happened in Clinton's impeachment.

What you see are republicans literally laughing at their colleagues for attempting such a stunt while expecting them to believe it.
