It's a colossal mistake for the Dems, and one that will likely cost them not only the WH next year, but also the House and potentially Pelosi's tenure as Speaker in the interim.
The Great Liberal Experiment in the House has failed. No healthcare, no infrastructure, no DACA/immigration reform. Once they play this card, there's no going back, and then there's no other business being done by this Congress.
The news cycle will become all obstruction, all impeachment, all the time, and quite literally for nothing.
If Trump had an overdue library book, they would've had to launch an inquiry to impeach on that, but he's given them nothing.
