PS...I've never been a solid Gaetz fan; guy is a 'grand stander' and problematic, IMO. Though all in the fight are appreciated.

My theory is this: Gaetz is small potatoes HOR but if he ever had larger plans, ie senate or even Gov of Fla, this was to put the halt to that. He can remain in HOR where his impact is very small but this probably blocks his ascension from other than hard core fans/Trump supporters.
