I've been hesitant to call him a victim here. The story on his dad was weird. Rando guy emails him and says "things are about to get bad for your son but for some legislation and a nice fee, we can see to it that it goes away" and Gaetz dad immediately meets with him the next day?
That was a red flag to me. If they're extorting you on some trumped up shite, you don't meet with an extortionist just to hear him out.

Really? In this day and age of the democrat set up? If someone lies and says they're 18, you shouldn't go to jail just because you took their word.

This article now adds that Matt helped his friend make fake ID's.
They may be shaking down his friend but they need evidence. Matt is not guilty by association. Unless they want him to be to get rid of him politically.
