Trump hit it with Daniels prior to entering politics when he was in the entertainment industry and a private citizen. That is totally different from being a conservative politician who the media is looking to knife in the back. Plus Trump didn’t “trust” Daniels, he had her sign a non disclosure agreement (she broke) because he specifically didn’t trust her. Again, I find it hard to believe Gaetz would be dumb enough to run around with a 17 year old but will see how the story unfolds. I won’t be surprised if this is one of those leaked investigations that never actually materializes.

Noticed the same. It appeared that Carlson recoiled twice when Gaetz brought up meeting a woman/girl at dinner with his wife and then again on bringing up a decades old false accusation.
We cringed while watching. Even our dog looked uncomfortable.
I have no idea what really happened. I think very few people actually do.

It depends on state law, but it's not unusual for the laws to be written such that if you are 18 it's not illegal to have sex with someone who is, say, 17. The law rolls back the age of consent a couple of years to compensate for the lack of disparity in age.

Even in states that don’t, often the police will not always follow up on complaints because the DAs will not prosecute cases where the ages are three or less years apart.

I just don’t like how his case/story is going further than many. Biden’s son, Epstein’s travel log, many more hollywood pedos... seems like he is an easy target since he is hated by many, a republican/trumper. Kevin Spacey is still walking around free after being known to be a predator, even one after young men.

The alleged story about Gaetz showing nude pictures to colleagues in Congress and bragging about his sexual pursuits is what repulses me the most. It's pure degeneracy and filth. There's value in the idea of don't kiss and tell.
If I did something like that in my work place, especially on company time, I would be fired with little to no hesitation at all.
And besides, if I was willing to do something like that, it would be only with a very close circle of male family members and very close friends that I trust, not random colleagues and professional associates I work with and do business with.
