There were definitely people that thought the Senate could flip. It was at like 43% odds. This board was wrong on the "Red Wave". It was a Purple Wave. High voter turnout from all sides.
I don't follow the Governor stuff too closely but I see GOP wins in GA, FL, IA, OH, WI, VT, MD, CT, and TX just off the top of my head. That is no blue wave.
