Preemptive Wild Thing: you’ve been melting all week sky screamer.
I was told, repeatedly, that I would be melting Tuesday and that you couldn’t wait.
Told you I wouldn’t be melting, regardless.
The only thing that truly mattered was the house. If this was a vote on Trump, complete repudiation.
But now we can clealry see how weak Trumps support is in those Midwest states he won. Baldwin retained her seat. Walker looks like he might go down. Losing independents and moderates. Dems clobbered the GOP in gov, AG, and SoS in Michigan. Flipped a house seat. 3-5 house seats flipped in Penn and a dem gov.
The GOP governor domination is over.
Kris kobach dumped in Kansas. DECISIVELY. Pete Sessions gone. Time for some people to stop living in denial.
Make no mistake, this was a blue wave.
Congrats to the winners, regardless of party.
So, vent away. Hurl your insults. Give me your excuses.

This was the Dems best shot, they went all out in getting turnout + raising money nationally for these seats. And they did less than average for a minority party and lost every key seat they wanted in the Senate and governor.
If this is the “wave”, 2020 will be rough

When it’s midnight and you have lost every single Senate tossup race and you can believe this it’s delusion.
You can be proud of the House performance without the hyperbole. This wasn’t even close to any wave. It’s way below the average midterm performance and this is for the “least popular” president of all time.
