If a runoff comes down between him and either Broom or Marcelle, I will vote for him.
He wouldn’t get my vote against anyone else.

It’s Watson or Carter for me. Wish we weren’t rolling out 3 candidates. BR has to be all in on one rhino to even have a shot. Curious how much the Zachary, Central crowd could possibly effect the election. I fully expect Broome to be re-elected simply bc the EBR-RP can’t ever seem to get it together.

I cannot support a candidate that believes local governments can and should mandate the citizens to wear masks in public and force local businesses to enforce said order under the threat of being forced into closure and bankruptcy. Carter supports the above, so I cannot support him. Both Watson and Piazza are vocally against the mask mandate and restrictions on businesses. I don’t know where E is on masks. Broome, Carter, and Marcelle are all in favor of mask mandates.
Tbh, if I were Watson or Piazza and I made the runoff, I would promise the other a prominent spot in my administration. Piazza would make a great mascot for the city for recruiting investors, getting local buy-in for initiatives, doing all the pr stuff a mayor like Kip was so excellent at doing. He’s the big idea guy, the dreamer, I’d want as the face of the parish.
Watson seems built for the detail work. He’s the guy I’d want staying on top of DPW to make sure a road project is done right. He’s the guy I want chasing down why a permit has been sitting for so long at the permit office. He’s the guy I’d want running the day to day operations of the Parish.

A lot of voters in the 70808 have early voted for him. He will surprise and just may get your vote in a runoff.
I’ll say this for Jordan as well. He has been on the phone asking many of us with businesses what it would take to bring us back to BR. None of the other candidates reached out to me. To be fair to them, I don’t have the lifelong personal relationship with them that I have with Jordan, but it’s not a secret who he has been talking to.

Figures. 70808 is, as Bob Seger would say, Cuckmandu.

Your posts aren't doing your candidate any favors, fyi.
I think the choice for most conservative voters is between Watson and Carter. Your posts are pushing me toward Watson.

What am I doing besides just countering the false assertion that Matt Watson has about this mailer and Piazza’s commercial have about him. I haven’t lied, I’ve provided facts, and never called anyone a name.
What have I done that is is objectionable?

His dad owned a restaurant. He opened a restaurant with his brother. Has since jumped around. He admittedly voted for democrats over and over. His plans sound like democratic plans.
I don’t know the guy, but he’s no Republican. Yet, he’s being supported by the BR elites. Someone has money on him at an early age, which leads me to believe he’s being trained to be a puppet for the elites who back him. They know he won’t win this year. They are setting him up for future years.

Interesting take. It does seem he has reinvented himself. His ads are slick and he had backing. The question is what has he ever done to make someone think he could run the parish effectively. What has he accomplished?

Is Phil's Oyster Bar still around? Those backroom card games were fun.

Marcelle is not a serious candidate. She isn't even using all the $100K Eddie Rispone gave her. She just hates Sharon Broome.
EBRP is a Democratic parish. It is unlikely that a conservative Republican is going to win the Mayor-President position.

I agree BR cannot have a straight line republican mayor. However, I cannot vote for Piazza since he voted for Hillary Clinton. I'm voting for the E-Guarantee
