NEW - Petty theft has been "decriminalized" in San Francisco. Anything under $950 is not going to be prosecuted. This happened in a Wallgreens yesterday. 17 stores have closed so far due to shoplifting.

I find the bike in the store about as crazy as the guy just rolling out with a garbage bag full of stuff.

SFO may already be gone. I was out there 3-4 years ago for an American Heart Assoc conference and stayed just off Union Square. Had to cross it to get to the meeting.
The place was overrun with bums and vagabonds. It reeked of Mary J at 7:00am. By noon, the overly aggressive panhandlers had run-off most of the tourists. I cruised by one guy asking for money and he followed me like he wanted to fight.
There's a lot of money out there and its a beautiful place, but the "tolerance" culture has effectively empowered the worthless to ruin it.
The place was overrun with bums and vagabonds. It reeked of Mary J at 7:00am. By noon, the overly aggressive panhandlers had run-off most of the tourists. I cruised by one guy asking for money and he followed me like he wanted to fight.

Whoever created that app showing which streets in SF had shite on the sidewalks, should make a similar app showing the stores that have been legally robbed.

I will be there in 3 weeks and staying in the city...its been some time since I been in downtown S.F.....should be interesting
