A variant of the "Hitler" defense.

"I may be bad and sinful, but I'm no Hitler!"
In today's parlance, "Biden, Harris, Pelosi, Schumer, BLM, Antifa, et al are horrible, but they're no Trump!"

I really don’t care what any of them paid in taxes.

What I do care about is our government leaking info in an attempt to influence an election !
This is a big friggin deal!

None of the media outlets are even talking about it. There is stuff on Twitter but otherwise, no one care because the ends justifies the means to these people. Nothing is off the table

Trump should have a copy of the article in his jacked pocket with these sections of the story highlighted for easy reference.

Pay attention: this has nothing to do with what the candidates are saying and everything to do with a smear piece put out by the NYT that the rest of the media and left jumped on like it was fact.

The left keeps saying they want decency and integrity back in the White House, and yet they constantly peddle lies.

The $750 was after a $9.7 M tax credit. Trump makes estimate tax payments through out the year not only at year end.
It obvious that lots of people need TurboTax.

So let me see if I have this straight....

He paid in estimates and then wiped his tax liability with tax credits (not that there is anything wrong with that) and rolled over most of his overpayment to future years. What does this tweet think they are proving and why is it worthy of a sticky?

Doesn't that completely undermine the narrative that Trump only paid $750 in taxes?

Are we concerned about payments or the actual liability? Because you can pay whatever you want to the IRS, but that doesn't mean it's your tax liability.

Now, if they are making estimated payments of that magnitude maybe you can infer that he is paying somewhere in that vicinity in a normal year and this historical restoration credit was a extraordinary boon they got sorted out later on, but this isn't the gotcha the tweeter (or this board) thinks it is.

And to be clear, IDGAF about taxgate; but if you're going to get on a soapbox about misinformation, know what you're talking about.

Ok Mr. know-it-all, since you are so smart, please tell us where chocolate milk comes from if it doesn't come from brown cows. That's what I thought...
