There is nothing "retarded" or "angry" about patronizing brands and businesses that reflect your values. They offered to credit me the $99 I paid for Sunday Ticket Max and still keep the it for free if I did not cancel Direct TV. Told them thanks but no thanks and said they should pick better business partners next time. Preferably ones who don't disrespect the service men and women defend our country.

I think direct TV trying to salvage their relationships with their customer. It is a good move on their part to stay neutral and not lose customers.
