Yup, any politician that tries to buck their system will be the victim of a media charged propaganda machine & portrayed the same way they have Trump.
If the media doesn't fully attack a candidate or politician it's a sure sign that person is "playing the game" with the swamp.

Actions speak louder than words.
The swamp is swampier and more powerful than its ever been.
We don't have a wall. What we did build Mexico didn't pay for it.
He didn't take a salary but he signed huge omnibus bills even before Covid. He wasn't willing to shut down the government ever - caved every time.
His good 100% outweighs the bad and I do think he was the best president since Reagan. I will happily vote for him again. But those of you who think he's infallible are a lost cause. That man could take your business and your home and you would still be lined up asking him to sign your hat with his name on it. You're fanboys. Nothing more.

Yes, because it's so easy to tell who is beholden to the swamp and who is not...
I think Trump got bit quite a bit in his first term. I think he will likely get bit again in his second term. I think every time that happens, we find out a bit more how deep the corruption goes. Trump will be the first to tell you that he shouldn't have hired Bolton, Barr, or Chao. He doesn't defend them.
Trump obviously has a better understanding of who he can trust, now.

Not one that made me so stupid that I believe voting for someone who will likely lose accomplishes anything

No one thinks he's infallible.

Ron may end up being a neocon globalist, but I think you have to ride him, in part because the system won't be as adverse to him.
Think that statement through......

Yes obviously. Like the my pillow guy, the kraken lady, the four season's lawn care spokesman with hair dye running down his face.

You act like he had a choice. If he had not signed the omnibus bill, the Republicans would have joined him and convicted him at his impeachment trial.
He is treading a fine line. Now that he doesn't have to worry about staying in office, he has more leeway. His speech the other day was laid out what his mission is.

Oh come on. Plenty of people on this board do. So many people fricking thought he's really secretly the president bc he laid all these super secret traps and there's a shadow war going on.
Look at jjdoc. He's in every thread and I've never seen a post claiming trump is anything but perfect. Could have missed it. But it's a sad life to live.

I get it. I just think populism is being squashed and there probably isn't a future after DJT. But, I'm in defeatist mode today. Put me in the cuck chair.

They worship him. That is why they are a cult.

How can our government flat out lie to us over and over about a pandemic and nobody is held accountable?
The media is in their pocket.
Well, Fox isn't, but they are too inept to actually accomplish anything. Tucker and a few others over there who are actually good can only do so much themselves.
Then you have smaller outlets like the Daily Wire that are as legitimate as any of their left wing counterparts of the same size, but they don't get the same access where they even could find anything out. They seem more focused on fighting the culture war anyway, which may be a product of the access issue I just mentioned.
The media used to be a check on the government. its not anymore. Thats the clear difference here.

The cure for TDS IMO is Biden. If Biden runs these people will either stay home or see the light that Trump is actually not a big bad meanie.
The wine moms weren't voting for Biden. They were voting against Trump.
Democrats could run a senile child molester and their voters would still vote for him over Trump. Hell, we just saw them do it in 2020.
Like it or not, suburban women are heavily influenced by what they see on shows like The View and social media. Trump isn't getting that vote.

Case in point. ".....it had to happen this way guyz! Don't you get it yet?!!! Wwg1wga! Sanctions are coming!"

Republicans are going to have to step up the ground game and get dirty in the trenches for either candidate. Ron and Don both have targets on their backs for good reason. They’re both fighting for the same thing.

There are a lot of people in our government who will go to war against the deep state if they have the evidence, and the right leader who has their back.
Look, it appears that the CIA had JFK killed, and they are keeping it under wraps. Every other government document is redacted so heavily that you can't tell what it is about. Not to protect National Security, but to protect the personal security and reputations of bad people doing bad things. We can't even watch video of Mimi and Elmer Gundarsson of Omaha, Nebraska walking through the Capitol Bldg on January 6th, and they were good people, because they are afraid we'll see bad people doing the governments bidding.
Geezus, we need someone to stand up and call this shite out. Someone with a voice.
