We gave away to another country for them to lose a war that had no bearing on us

I can’t be the only one who saw $29B and thought, damn that’s it?
That doesn’t come close to denting how much fraud I’m convinced is going on.

Who’s not mad about $188 billion? Seems to me more like you guys are fine with sending Israel billions. The same guys who once hated this type of thing.

Does seem like there were a lot of Ukraine bros here.

Jesus Christ. We literally stole the money from them and refused to give it back. Did anyone have history classes in high school or college?

Actually it was because we were protecting Ukraine's border and not ours. Ukraine isn't one of our allies. In fact, the US media called them the most corrupt country in the world full of neo Nazis.
But no one wants to have nuance or an honest discussion anymore.

No one blinked an eye at the $1.2 trillion for the preposterously named “Inflation Reduction Act”.

That was before the DC elite needed Ukraine to launder tax dollars and protect the elites children that were bankrolled there.

You spend so much effort trying to defend the undefendable and the only thing you claim are whataboutisms.
You are just as pathetic as the clowns defending the Ukraine war.

I see the difference as soft cost versus hard cost. For Ukraine, I think of it as all soft cost, which is bad. We just gave them money to do with as they pleased. We also gave them weapons which to me are sort of a hard cost because we have to replenish those at a cost to us not having them anymore.
I look at the "blockade" and associated bombings more as a hard cost. By hard cost I mean to say we are spending that money no matter what. If a carrier group is doing exercises with Japan or blocking the Strait of Hormuz we are still paying for those soldiers to be on active duty and feed them and run the ships and aircraft associated. When you go to the beach in Destin or 30A you see the fighter jets doing their daily exercises. These are costs that the military has everyday in peace and war. However, when its conflict time, these are labeled as "extra costs". I would agree that some if not most or the ordinance used is extra because it has to be replaced. But we expend ordinance everyday during training exercises.
All of that to say, when we are active in conflict, most of the associated costs were already going to be expended by the peace time mission. However, just sending pallets of cash to another Country is fully extra costs.
