You clearly have never lost anyone to drugs...or the scourge of drug related crimes. Or seen a child that has to grow up with one parent or no parents due to drugs. People that are trafficking drugs into the US, foreign or domestic are "firing" on US citizens. They are knowingly engaging in an illegal trade that takes lives and ruins lives. Sentences for these crimes are not harsh enough. I am okay with it. What if it all you want. Our enemies have been using our system against us to weaken us and prevent us from doing what needs to be done for years.

The Department of War says we are at War. Enemy combatants, though I expect they will eventually send a mother and her 4 daughters out in a boat for drama and innuendo to keep some folks stirred up about due process during war.

I've seen those things and worse unfortunately. Probably first hand more so than you have.
And it all happened while the drugs were illegal.

The one and only thing that concerns me is whether or not the 'Narco-Terrorists' are going to start adding human smuggling victims to these boats as a way to try and stop from being blasted out of the water. If our technology and intelligence becomes aware of that, and we continued blasting shite out of the water that kills innocent lives, that is going to cause a shite storm.
