It didn’t take long for the Pentagon to all but confirm that the temporary Gaza port constructed at the behest of President Biden is turning out to be a total disaster.
The admission came during a Tuesday press conference, in which Gen. Patrick S. Ryder, the Pentagon’s spokesman, told reporters that none of the 569 metric tons of food and supplies delivered into Hamas-controlled Gaza via the port have been distributed to Gaza residents by nongovernmental organizations. Constructed by the U.S. military, the $320 million floating port was announced earlier this year during Biden’s State of the Union address, a move designed to cater to the pro-Hamas wing of the Democrat Party base.
So no one is accountable? Move along?

Not a chance.
Hamas appropriated the food to be sold to whoever would pay the most for it in other countries.
They need the money to reinforce the terror tunnels.

For zero dollars they could have leaned on Israel to open some corridors to allow trucks to move through.

OUR GOVERNMENT IS CORRUPT

There was never any food delivered. The government scheme is the perception of good humanitarian aid but in reality they do things that enrich themselves and lock in their re-election. That’s it and that’s all. Otherwise the border would be closed.

Yep.

Since the port’s completion last Thursday, “some trucks, operated by nongovernmental organizations tasked with delivering the aid to another staging area, had been ransacked by looters,” the New York Post reported based on Ryder’s comments. The Associated Press separately reported that just five of 16 trucks operated by the United Nations World Food Program met their intended destinations during aid delivery runs on Saturday.
UNWFP officials said the remaining 11 trucks had been “commandeered” by a Palestinian mob.

Don't fall for it.
The goal was NEVER for aid delivery, but to quietly start relocating hundreds of thousands of Gazans to the United States via that extraction pier.

exactly. they are such incompetent losers they can't even provide aide and comfort to terrorists correctly.
when will the DoD Pentagon be held accountable? Afghanistan says hello.

Biden could have told Israel they'll receive no support of any kind unless aid is allowed to pass through the Israel/Gaza border. Had he said that, Netanyahu would have agreed.
The entire point of building a pier is to extract filthy Gazans to bring to the USA.
Please people stop falling for this garbage news reporting.
"Oh no!!! Hamas took the aid! We failed! Im outraged" - mindless lemmings

Yea! I thought we were “friends” with Israel?

I wouldn't doubt it. Are there any citizens alive?
why not remove HAMAs and Hezbollah that held people hostage?
The USA re-energized the terrorists in funding via Iran---- and now they save the people? It is so corrupt.

Lots of aid going into Palestine.

There was a shitload of food delivered to that floating boondoggle. Every single bit of it was taken by Hamas.

If the goal was funneling money to Pentagon and Congress - it was - then how is it a failure?

Show me on a map where Palestine is located.
When did it ever exist in the history of the world?

well duh.
Not only was it a failure, it was a setup/trap/trick to start with.
There was only one outcome: supply Hamas while simultaneously putting people in harms way unnecessarily.

Maybe they could have “leaned” on the Muslim brothers to the southwest of Gaza, the Egyptians, who share a border and are not currently at war with Hamas.
That would be a good choice, right? I’m sure the Egyptian Muslims care enough about the plight of their poor victimized Muslim brothers in Gaza to simply allow relief trucks to pass through. Right?

Palestine is easy to find on a map. It is and was a region or district, but never was political entity, or a nation, or contain a single culture.
The claim of being a Palestinian is no more applicable to the Arab Muslims than it is/was to the Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians etc who lived in that region.

This is what government failure looks like.
They didn’t have the obvious foresight to expect the trucks would get hijacked by criminals.
This administration is so
Incompetently naive.
Someone should have asked the question: “ before we spend half a billion dollars on this, how do we know it’s going to work and the food will get to its target destination?”
They would have realized they would need an armored convoy, making the idea extremely difficult.
And those things would be worked out before a penny is spent.
