I don’t doubt we’ve ran low in some stuff, but the modern weapon stockpiles are just fine.
Stuff like the information in the OP is just the normal fear tactics the DoD uses all the time to try to make sure they get more and more funding

Could there be a chance labeled as “helping our military” when Biden does with citizen ammunition like Roosevelt did with gold in the 30’s?
It would be easy to enforce against people who don’t have suppressors and sub-sonic ammo. No more gun range days.
It sucks to have these thoughts, but when you see how out of control the gun grab people are, I like to look at so scenarios.

We aren’t winning any kind of war of attrition with Chyna. They have a standing army of over a million soldiers with another million in reserve. Chyna doesn’t have the ability to wage a real war anywhere but their own backyard though and they know it.
It would be a stand off conflict with Japan, South Korea, and Philippines taking the brunt of the blow.

I am sure we are low on inventory, but that is planned. They have to keep the military industrial complex going.
I am all for the strongest military in the world, but also realize that this will serve to make politicians and their buddies super rich.
