Update 11:44pm EST Via Associated Press: Nearly three hours after polls closed and with 99 percent of precincts reporting, unofficial results had Lamb leading Saccone by 847 votes. Some absentee ballots were not expected to be counted until Wednesday morning, and the final result could be decided by a recount.

You think Lamb represents the modern Democrat platform?

Trump won this district by 20 points you geniuses.
And his policies are well represented in both Lamb and Saccone.

It's just the opposite!!
The dems have nothing to run on but support of Trump. Just like Lamb just did!!

How do you like going to the poll to vote for Libertarians in federal elections knowing you will lose by massive margins?
I love that it pisses people like you off.

I love that time Gary Johnson made a fool of himself. Actually it was more than one time. Hilarious. And lost by a lot too.

Story of the result: Lamb (D) & Saccone (R) both hit roughly the %s they needed in each county of #PA18.
But here's the difference: Allegheny Co. (DEM) turned out at 67% of '16 levels, Westmoreland Co. (GOP) turned out at just 60% of '16.
Another pro-Dem enthusiasm gap.

Because I actually believe in limiting government. Because an election isn't a sporting match. Because voting for most establishment candidates, of either party, results in the same deficits, the same wars, the same surveillance, the same leviathan and the same crooked people lying to you on a daily basis.
People like you are so concerned with winning you throw all of your principles out the window and all of us end up losing. You think Bush, McCain and Romney are a better way forward?

Westmoreland won't be in the PA-18 district next year.

MastrShake
Dems lost plenty of seats in 2010 and 2014 that voted for Obama by 20+ points.
Bush lost seats that voted for him by 20+
Clinton lost 54 seats in 94.

I was actually a leftist for all those elections and at the time I despised them. Even as a conservative now, I still think they're bad.
I'll tell you Bob Dole, Jack Kemp, or a Reagan 3rd term would have been great though.

How bad of a candidate was Hillary? She lost PA, WI, and MI!!! Unbelievable.

Our current president made dick jokes on the debate stage and said you can grab randos by the pussy. His opponent was involved in numerous scandals.
Johnson was a shite candidate. Yes, he lost "bigly". That doesn't mean Trump or Hillary were some saviors.

Lol. Go live in your government free fantasy la la land. You lot are as crazy as the Marxists.
You know what scares people like you in the Republican Party more than anything? An actual conservative who wants to actually reduce the size and scope of government. You're one of the biggest Rand Paul haters on this site, a man who has more backbone in standing up for conservative values than all the establishment Republican candidates you've ever voted for.

Trump has destroyed his life. He will take any victory he can get no matter how desperate he looks

Let's play make believe for one second and imagine an entire cadre of Moderate Democrats are elected to the House.
Pelosi and Sr Dem Leadership lose their job's and the Black and Hispanic Caucuses lose their influence, which is tied to Pelosi.
Say hello to Speaker Tim Ryan, who's not that far removed from Paul Ryan ideologically.
Never going to happen because the uber libs will never let it happen, so you can flush your blue wave bs down the shitter.
