Not really. Both of these guys will be running in different districts again in less than a year.
Lamb probably, don't think the PA GOP will want anything to do with Saccone

And “congressional race” can refer to a House or Senate race

If you claim that Dems haven’t won’t a congressional race when they have won a Senate seat you should expect to be called out for being wrong

That requires 60 people to do, assuming they have all their toes and fingers.

20 of the past 22 representatives for this district have been Republican, and this would be the first Democrat elected in 18 years.

It's typically so lopsided that the Democrats have not fielded a candidate in numerous recent elections and allowed the GOP incumbent to run uncontested.

Demographically, the district is 96% white, and just 2% black and 2% other. It's also contains many of Pittsburgh's wealthier suburbs and townships, and has the second-oldest electorate in the state.

What’s crazy about this district is that Rick Santorum represented this district in Congress. When he ran for senate, a Democrat took the seat. Crazy how you can go from Santorum, to a Democrat who won re-election during the 2000 election when Bush was voted in.

Other random stuff as we wait for results. John Heinz represented this district as a congressman before joining the senate. After he died in a plane crash, his wife remarried John Kerry.

99/100 times "congressional race" refers to a House election.

What they don’t tell you here is 2 of the last four representatives have been democrats and democrats have a 70,000 registered vote advantage in the district.

Such a misleading statistic.

incumbents are reelected at a 97% margin. Once somebody wins, they almost always stay in the seat for decades.

Murphy was the incumbent and got outed for sex stuff and paid abortions.

Yeah baws.

Keep believing that blue wave is just bullshite.

Trump won this district by 20 points you geniuses.

P.S. there are 119 congressional districts currently held by Republicans that lean Democrat more than PA-18.

and would win it again by 20 if he was on the ballot today.

Why can't you people grasp that local politics matters? The dem was a very good candidate, the R was atrocious.

STOP COMPARING SPECIAL ELECTION MARGINS WITH PRESIDENTIAL MARGINS.

Yeah let's blame the people voting their conscience instead of the party for nominating a terrible candidate and the candidate for running a terrible campaign. You sound like Hillary blaming Jill Stein for her losing.

Lol. Go live in your government free fantasy la la land. You lot are as crazy as the Marxists.

How do you like going to the poll to vote for Libertarians in federal elections knowing you will lose by massive margins?
