You know what scares people like you in the Republican Party more than anything? An actual conservative who wants to actually reduce the size and scope of government. You're one of the biggest Rand Paul haters on this site, a man who has more backbone in standing up for conservative values than all the establishment Republican candidates you've ever voted for. You are such a fricking fraud.
Rand is a shitty candidate because he doesn't like more government. Give me the guy that wants to limit MULTIPLE sections of the Bill of Rights.

Trump hasn't been horrible IMO, but he hasn't been some conservative savior like some are branding him. The "arrest now, due process later" shite worries me, as do his comments on firearm restrictions. I think he's got a good shot at turning the economy around but he's not afraid to spend. He's been surprisingly good on foreign policy.
I still don't get why this board shits on Rand though. I watched 8 years of "ObAmA iS sHiTtInG oN tHe CoNsTiTuTiOn!!!11!" on here and then Rand comes along and they shite on him for actually defending it. Instead, we see, "fricking 4D chess with his 2A restrictions!!!!!!! frick YES massive infrastructure projects and shovel ready jobs! Tariffs rock!!! Arm the teachers!! Give the police whatever they want!" I mean they hate fedgov spending yet they're cheerleaders whenever Trump wants it.

Say hello to Speaker Tim Ryan, who's not that far removed from Paul Ryan ideologically.
Tim Ryan supports Medicare-for-all, opposed the tax cuts, voted for cap-and-trade, and loves tariffs
But sure aside from those minor details they're twinsies

Ben SHapiro is saying the GOP is set to lose 118 house seats based on tonight's vote.
would be most seats lost by a party since 1896.

This is the most retarded shite I've ever read and Shapiro should kill himself for saying that.

They are all up for reelection in november. How is that a stupid analysis? Unless you think there won't be a uniform swing?

He’s not saying dems will win all of them

That
plus
there isn't a Republican resigning in scandal for all of those races
plus
democrats aren't running conservative dems in all of those races

I've accepted and post here that I like Rand after reading into his stuff more personally and after he was attacked by a rabid Marxist, my previous comments were solely based on his debate performance with Trump. Notice how Rand is a Republican though. Yes, I'm sure he has Libertarian views, but he understands you need to be in the GOP to win. If you want to be a small government conservative, run as a Republican and get these Dems and RINOs out. Your own personal club don't stand a chance.

quote:Yes, and they all have incumbents. This was a race whose incumbent resigned in disgrace. It's a best-case scenario for Democrats, not something they can expect to repeat across 118 other districts. Saying it means they lose 100+ seats is every bit as stupid as saying it means nothing.
There are 118 seats currently held by gop that are less red than this district.
You'd probably sleep easier if you just took measured, nuanced positions instead of ping-ponging between your shitty Rick Wilson impression and your shitty Kurt Schlichter impression.

The only good posts he makes is when his post is solely posting a news article or he's quoting someone. As soon as his post actually carries his own words and content, it goes to complete shite. HHTM is one of the worst posters here, along with TigersHuskers, MasterRag, Jorts, and Rakim.

I projected earlier that Lamb would win by 150 votes. But if there are 3000 absentee votes in the Red counties, Saccone can win with a 63-37% vote on the absentee ballots. It would be by less than 100 votes.

What no one is talking about is the fact Lamb was polling 6% over Saccone and will maybe win by less than .03%. If the polling for the Blue wave is around 6-8% I consider that as garbage. The GOP had a crappy candidate and the DEm candidate was GOP lite. Not saying a Blue wave won't be coming but the polling still shows to be skewed to Dems.

I was referring to the last polls. Not the average over the last month.
