Trump is of such low moral character that he would collude with the Russians to win the election and then turn around and start a war with them. He just uses everyone and discards them. We must impeach!!!

I REALLY do not think that the Russians want to commit "suicide by Navy;" We would absolutely destroy their entire blue water fleet in less than two weeks if they shot at Navy ships of ours.

BS. Bombing a few airfields and taking out the ability to deliver chem weapons is not an overreach here. There has to be an example of consequences for chem weapons use - others who possess those weapons are watching.
To be clear, im for a backhand to Assad and Putin. "All out war" is very unlikely. No troops. We still continue to pull out.

So why don't we bomb the rebels we've been supporting? This isn't about enforcing some international norm, and even if it were, we should only engage in military action with congressional resolution when it is determined our national security is threatened.
