Mollie Hemingway made a great point on Twitter. Blueanon are all talking about how VP debates don't matter but in 2016 Pence's performance did a lot to bring home traditional GOP voters who didn't like Trump's bombastic style. Hopefully, that plays out again this year.

Callers on CSPAN are basing their opinions on the candidates not answering the questions instead of the substance of the argument. Pence killed her on every topic.

Pence did a very good job. The only thing I think he missed saying was the black, Hispanic unemployment rates prior to the China virus.
The moderator was giving Kamala more time early in the debate and Pence dealt with that by finishing his statements that the moderator tried to stop. I used a stopwatch some to check her time allocation. it will be interesting to hear what one of the papers says about the amt of time they talked.
... I flipped over to CNN some after the debate to see what they would say ... they were giving excuses for kamala and saying that she had to handle herself a certain way because she is a woman.

I just don’t get how they can say the Trump Tax Cuts ONLY HELPED RICH PEOPLE. It’s patently false and if most people would compare their tax returns or read them they would understand. But no.... most idiots just noticed they didn’t get the usual refund instead of understanding that less was withheld overall and their effective tax rate went down.

This was a great strategic move by him. Whenever he was cut off by the moderator or not given a chance to respond, he always took time on the next question to go back and respond to Harris.
