So he's not eligible to be Vice President, but Hillary was still eligible to be president.

What classified material was available on his aol account as the governor of Indiana?

I never said he did. But he did use private email to conduct public business. I'm sure he was directed to use the govt. server for all govt. related correspondence.

As so many pointed out during the Clinton fiasco, all of his business is public info. Anything done one private email is invisible to the public.

Same scale as Hillary? Of course not. Still intentional misuse of state communication? You betcha.

For the record, I think charges should have been brought against Hillary.

But the Trumpkins with the "Don't care." comments reveal hypocrisy and ignorance. It was at a lower level, so it doesn't matter.

We can only assume that it was SCI-classfied materials of the highest sensitivity, a promise of access to all levels of government, and tit-for-tat personal favors for large donations to the Mike Pence Foundation.

Hell if I know.

Did he intentionally use private email to conduct public business?

Perhaps you have forgotten; Obama's justice dept. determined that this is not an issue.

I don't know. That's why I asked what was in them. I can't imagine a governor having access to national security type info.

He likely wouldn't, at least I can't imagine a scenario where a governor has security clearance and is getting national security info. It's not an apples to apples comparison with Hillary, but there are still serious concerns. The fact is though, almost every elected official at every level uses a private email address. I believe it's not allowable to have a government email address installed on a private smartphone or tablet. I may be wrong on that though.

This is why no one trusts the media anymore. It's one thing to conduct state business with a private e-mail when you're the governor of a state. The information you deal with on a daily basis probably remains at the Unclassified level. Compare that to Secretary of State, where the information you deal with on a daily basis frequently ranks up there in the Top Secret area.

The fact that the media is trying to play "gotcha" with Vice-President Pence on this one is both sad and disgusting.

It is not allowable for certain communications from government sources to be on one's private server. It is actually supposed to be criminal but not for some folks with privilege.

Nothing in that article suggests they're conducting official business via that server or that classified material is running through it.

The latter is the main issue I had with Hillary's setup. She broke the law and forced others to break the law in order to comply with her demands.

There's a difference in a personal email (AOL) and a private email server (Hillary). 1 you are trying to hide things and the other can be easily accessed. You can figure out which is which on your own.

I'm sure it's been stated in this thread, but Indiana state law allows for public officials to use private email.
