Has anyone given a rational reason for why the Speaker of the House should travel to another country? Should the Chief Justice start making trips too? That is the dumbest thing about the whole fiasco.

I agree with you, but it's been done in the past, just not much can be done. Worse is sending the First Lady to a war zone.
We should have a full write up on the ROI for Pelosi's trip though. Just going for a photo op without a real stance isn't enough, especially since her and her husband are known for their insider trading on Tech Chips. Was there anything she did to enrich herself by visiting the top Tech Chip making country in the world?
