agreed.

the problem was Trump was advised most evicted go to shelters and Covid could be spread easier.

BTW: your thread should be bumped; we are headed for a crash that will make the Obama housing crisis look tame.

Sorry but if you put that in people will screw their landlords knowing they don't have to pay.

I’m sure a bunch are spending this money and not paying their rent for months. Then will get another 30 days before being evicted then just find somewhere else to rent. Will be plenty places since they will all do the same thing.

look who is jumping out like fish in hot water

they are scared their dem cities won't get bailed out from rioting and always being broke. they are scared the post office won't get a trillion or now negotiated billions for 57 each dem mail ballots.

if they would just agree on stimulus, payroll tax holiday and 400 dollar UE boost and no pork we would be just fine.

politically if they had a brain the dems would agree to stimulus and UE boost only right now.

This is the correct Dem strategy, IMHO. Inflict as much pain and chaos as possible on the USA while the Ministry of Propaganda aggressively blames Trump.

This is the correct strategy. IMHO, it is a "toss-up" whether or not the US electorate will be sentient enough to figure out this Democrat strategy, but, it's the only chance that the Dems have to beat Trump.

Some voters will throw their hands up and say, "I'm voting against Trump because things can't possibly get any worse if we make a change." Perhaps MANY voters will do this. THIS is what the Dems are banking on - that, and voting fraud.

These people are arguing over nothing. Easy fix: keep at $600 if that’s what your hellbent on but put some accountability around it such that people can’t collect the UE benefits unless they’ve been let go without cause by their employer.

It’s not UE benefits that small business owners are uncomfortable with; it’s the potential to intentionally quit an otherwise available job to go make more from UE benefits.

the Dems are claiming it's the $600 UE bonus that is holding up the deal, so John Q. Public will be outraged.. but you would HOPE that the real holdup is the $1 trillion they want to give to the USPS for mail in voting

I think payroll tax cuts are great . More money for people working and who have been working should be rewarded . Need to give people an incentive to work. Staying home and collecting 600 dollars a week is not gonna get it . People will never go back to work.

This.

They’re browbeating John Q Voter with enough shite to wear him down to the point where he just says “frick it, I’ll vote Democrat if they’ll just make it all stop”.

Right. The left are intentionally creating an unsavory effect that they can then attribute to Trump as the cause. I have to believe people see through this shite.

It's like a kid deciding they don't want Babysitter A, who is stricter and more attentive than Babysitter B. In order to get rid of Babysitter A, they exhibit terrible behavior anytime they get Babysitter A and excellent behavior anytime they get Babysitter B. Eventually, parents begin to assume it must be something about Babysitter A (as opposed to the conniving child) that is somehow the reason for the bad behavior.
