That lawyer Buzbee is a big time Aggie alum and fan. I bet he probably does visit this site pretty often.

I’ll even forgive him for that.

Dude is awesome.

The America First are winning. You see that because Romney chose the way that doesn't see him get his arse primaried.

That's the only reason he's not running. He saw exactly how Liz Cheney's arse got bounced.

This went over my head. Pence and Romney are the GOPe enablers who are to blame for the "civil war". Albeit both act as if they are above the whole thing when if fact it's their feckless fence-walking that has let the Dem Fascists totally corrupt Institutional credibility and Equal Justice/Rule of Law.

I will never take anything those two say as honest in the least. Sanctimonious, high-minded hypocrites who cower in the face of 'civil war' for the soul of this Nation.

Both are done. Good riddance.

It didn’t go over your head. You got it. Both have acknowledged the two factions. They both say they will prevail. They both know that won’t happen via the will of the voter.

Seeing Desantis at about 12% I think has opened their eyes. They are down to using tactics to remove Trump. Romney flat out quit. Pence seems to still think he holds a card under his sleeve…I’m sure relating to Jan 6. But, both are now talking about losing control of the party.

frick em Both and every person that supports the GOPe and it’s candidates.

Romney retired because he'll be 77 by the time the election is done and didn't want ti be serving in his 80s, something the other geriatrics running should follow suit.

In a state that consistently goes Republican by 70/30 margins Trump barely won in 2016 by a plurality of 45% with Clinton and McMullin splitting the rest. Mormons aren't MAGA.

The hopium is strong in you sir.

Don’t you think they’d just move on to new puppets?

Verdict could arrive anytime.
They’ll deliberate ‘til no later than 8pm tonight.
If no decision by tonight, they’ll resume deliberations at 9am tomorrow and again at noon on Sunday.

I think it’ll be tonight.
Those fools want their weekend.

Honestly I am surprised it's taken this long. Unlike a real jury they don't need to reach consensus. They simply need to vote.

No way these senators are going to miss college football tomorrow. This’ll be done tonight.

I don’t have a clue.

If someone put a gun to my head and made me guess, I’d say he’ll be acquitted—only because whispers indicate Buzbee felt he had the votes he needed … hence the truncated rebuttal.

My totally worthless opinion certainly isn’t based on substantive info.

Nothing would surprise me tho.
Until we purge Austin of establishment politicians, I’ll continue to be distrustful of the rot that infiltrates that city.

Would think this is a bad sign if 10 Repubs can't do no to impeachment.

Unless lots of bloviating and they couldn't get to the full list of 16.

Lots of older Bush types that are not happy with the republican party trending middle class and blue collar.

Like he said, the Bush's can go back to Maine.

I will check back on this thread later today for the results.

Thanks!

God bless Ken Paxton, and I pray that he wins this crooked establishment hatchet job trial.
