So if they "interfered", and had zero effect, what's the huge deal?

Well yeah. The problem from the beginning wasn't just interference, though, it was collusion with the Trump campaign to sway the election. If Russia didn't work with Trump and if they didn't affect the election, there is no story here.

And our CIA has done the same in foreign countries for over 50 years

Getting outraged by election meddling is a slippery slope

Oh they had an effect but it was only effective because it exposed rampant corruption in the DNC and media.

And then we found out the collusion was with the Clinton campaign and Russia. How is that story basically already dead? It's maddening how the MSM is propaganda at the highest level.

I think if they ever publicized the statd on Chinese hacking attempts on US government systems, we’d be looking at tens of thousands daily. Context is everything here, but Dems are framing this as a Russia problem to score cheap political points and they clearly dgaf if they provoke war over the rhetoric

Or the best:

quote:

President Barack Obama has a blunt message for Donald Trump: “Stop whining.” Speaking alongside Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi in the Rose Garden, Obama dismissed Trump's incessant talk of a rigged election as a whimper coming out of a campaign that treats this election like a joke.

“There is no serious person out there who would suggest somehow that you could even rig America’s elections, in part because they’re so decentralized and the numbers of votes involved,” Obama said.

“There’s no evidence that that has happened in the past or that there are instances in which that will happen this time,” he continued.

“And so, I ‘d advise Mr. Trump to stop whining and go try to make his case to get votes.

Actually I was going to vote for HRC, til a meme popped up in my newsfeed proving that she was a lizard person.

The Russians obviously put that there to sway me.

I suppose we should remove all attempt crimes from the books then, right?

Tried to shoot someone, but missed. What's the huge deal?

How does he know that it didn't affect them?
And does the outcome really matter?

That's exactly what I'm saying.

Because Trump didn't collude with Russia and because the Russian "interference" didn't actually do anything to sway the election, it's a non-story. The entire investigation was started to see if Trump's campaign worked with Russia to steal an election from the next in line.

This is been said before, like 12 times or something.

Do we have to be reminded of this everyday?

Well if that's the case it sounds like a good place to put a commission together to tighten up the process, naw frick that let's go down the other path.
