Yeah, like because you shoot at someone and miss, it's all fine, no problems, no crimes, lets just move on.
Go after Russia all you want (good luck!) but the point is that there's no evidence of Trump or his campaign working with Russia to influence the election and that the election was not influenced.

Therefore, it seems to be that Russia did in 2016 what it has been doing for years and what we've been doing for years (except with more impact).

However Russia is going nowhere so the best way to change their behavior for the better is to engage them and make it in their interest to do so. Trump is probably the first president to attempt to do that.

Attempted murder is a crime, even if you fail.

I’m sure someone has made this point. Russia has engaged in an act of war against the United States. No fly zones over Syria, growth of NATO, and adding other countries would be a good thing.

Additionally, expel Turkey from NATO.

As did Isreal. As did Saudi. As did China. As did Pakistan. As did Germany. As did England. Want me to go on?

ETA: And to be fair, the USA engages back. We attempt (and often succeed) at hacking other nations. Just one example

This is another example that conservatives aren’t funny.

By hacking the DNC? That is an act of cyber bullying. Not an act of war.

And our CIA has done the same in foreign countries for over 50 years. Getting outraged by election meddling is a slippery slope

This. Global powers have been meddling since they became global powers. It's nothing new. All do it, while simultaneously blocking incoming meddling.

No one even hacked the DNC, that was an inside leak, likely Seth Rich. Just ask him.... oh yea
