I'm getting sick of people who keep talking about regime change. The regime has changed.

Yes, the IRGC is now firmly in control and you martyred the Ayatollah so his more radical son could take over. Mission accomplished.

This sounds like a much stronger deal than Obama’s administration made.

IDK, Obama only gave Iran $1.7 B of its own money, and this board bitches about it every single day. $30 B sounds like a lot more, even adjusted for inflation.

I hope the actual deal is a lot better than this.

How many years have you worked in Middle Eastern intelligence? You clearly have the data. Oh that's right, you have no fricking information other than what you pull out of your arse.

I was for this war if, and only if, we accomplished 1 goal:
1. Regime change to a Western friendly government, resulting in Iran stopping their support of terrorism. Also, allowing the people of Iran complete freedom.
Destroying their military, their leaders and their nuclear capabilities does not cut it. All of these things can be built back. We lost 13 servicemen in this war and there is a good chance Iran will be right back to being Iran in 5-10 yrs.

As it stands now, this isn't really a win.

To me, it just sounds like a 60 day ceasefire rather than a lasting peace deal/end to the conflict

You couldn’t be more wrong, as someone else mentioned, he’s the most nuanced and insightful out of all the YouTubers on the subject. He has first hand knowledge and experience with Iran and Muslims as he grew up there as a Christian.

They are just going to hold out until Trump is out. This deal has to be iron clad so that the next admin can still enforce it and keep Iran from developing nuclear capabilities, and I only think that happens if the IRGC is out of there.

Definitely not a fan of this part. I saw other reports where it said we wouldn't be paying them anything.

One of the dumbest talking points to emerge from this.

It's actually true.

"Skirmish", "arse beating", "invasion"... all truthful terms.

But it technically was not a "war".

At no point in this year have we been at war with Iran, just like at no point in this year have we been at war with Venezuala.

We’re currently in a war with Iran.

I don’t know what this talking point gets you though. What’s the goal with this game of semantics?

Nope. We currently are blockading Iran.

I think it is important to be truthful. That's all it gets me.

Yes. We’re using a blockade as a tool against Iran in our current war with them. Just as the North did to the South during the non-civil Civil War.

We've lost a total of 13 military members since the skirmish started. 7 in actual combat, and 6 during a refueling accident.

Biden lost 13 during his idiotic pullout of Afghanistan. Which took one day.

So technically Biden's one day "war" killed just as many Americans.

This is all retarded. And the pullout happened at the end of the Afghanistan war. It wasn’t a one-day operation. We’d been there since 2001.

He killed more Americans during an ill advised one day military operation.
