Absolutely not. It was taken by literally everyone, that they had the "subject" in custody. He then elaborated and thanks the locals for swift action.

So being transparent with the info given to him by locals? Got it. The use of “subject” vs “suspect” seems to be your only beef. Totally not TDS.

frick, I am sorry I thought it was someone that walked up to him and shot him with a 22 pistol and then just walked away, which reeks of a professional hit. My bad I thought that location was protected from that.

It was definitely a neck shot, right in the juggler.

There are some videos more close up that clearly show it. They are pretty horrible too.

To be honest they probably already know and are watching till they get all the evidence together
Unless the killer didn't shoot from that building, they have to have found the rifle. No way he would try to take it with him, right?

Break it down into a book sack and run downstairs into the chaos to blend in and your getaway is really easy.

I've got a sick feeling they are going to get away with this.

Cameras on every street light in the US. When you had that Austin bomber settle ng packages at residents that blew up, I think k he had went into a FedEx or some mail courier. He was wearing a blonde wig to disguise himself. Worker reported it and they tracked the guy all the way to the hotel he was staying at. How do you think they did that? Followed his vehicle all the way by using the traffic light cameras.

They'll do the same thing with the guy on the roof.

That's fine. Let's assume that I underestimated how they would evaluate his individual impact Does it still outweigh the response that the assassination would cause?

Maybe? I think it’s reasonable to believe that some would believe his leadership in flesh would be more galvanizing and for longer than a single incident. Especially if you forecasted some empathy instead of the current showing from the left.

Exactly, no professional or anyone with past sniper training is going for a neck shot in that situation. I feel they aimed center mass or for the head and missed the target but still hit the neck.

Before I was in LE I did this job in the Army. Unless something was blocking the shot, a high powered rifle center mass is the shot. Every single time. Head shot if center mass is not available.

Why would we need an explanation for that?

For reassurance. Was the person of interest the guy the Provo police arrested with the Big Easy cap?

I don’t know.

Wasn’t a very clean/professional shot.

Anyone that says this was a pro has no clue. A pro would NEVER aim for the neck! Ask any sniper and they will agree.

Bullet drop - Maybe he was aiming for the head ended up hitting the neck.

Two totally different scenarios, a moving target vs a stationary target.

LHO shot at JFK 3 times while moving at 88 yards. He hit him twice one being the kill shot. In my opinion and that of many others, LHO was aiming and shooting within 1 second of each other, likely aiming at the only exposed portion of JFK he could see and fire that quickly.

Charlie was sitting still mostly. The shooter had options. A trained sniper from military service is not shooting him in the neck. Period. This shot was meant to hit him in the face and make a massive statement being recorded. He slapped the trigger.
