Fair enough; it is often hard to separate seriousness from sarcasm and ridicule from respect on this and most forums that don't have a well-agreed-upon sarcasm font.

When you are willing to set aside the Constitution for personal expedience, you have to accept that other people will do the same, often to your detriment.

Multiple times in this thread I have said where this battle must be fought, but people still keep going down the unconstitutional route.

Islam is not a religion. It is a cult. A fascistic, murderous, and evil cult.

Our country’s founding document included mentioning God and unalienable rights endowed by our Creator, our 1st constitution used terms like the Year of our Lord, and our 2nd constitution showed some respect to the Christian sabbath of Sunday.

We have Moses & the commandants at the Supreme Court building along with Christian imagery in Congress and elsewhere. It is In God We Trust not Allah.

The freedom of religion in the first amendment in no way considered islam as a possibility like it has become at the time that term was written and ratified in the 1st amendment. Many then might not have considered it a real religion. It also was written to restrict Congress not the States who could have formed a State church if any had wanted to do so until the Supremes stretched the 14th well after the fact to cover an amendment explicitly written to apply to Congress. With that there is no way there was any expectation that a state would put up with an unchecked muslim takeover and be allowed to form a muslim state religion at the time the 1st amendment was written and ratified. Even Jefferson came to view muslims very negatively.

Thats kind of the point: We know the muslims will do the same, and their version of change would be MUCH worse than making the 1st move ourselves.

Is that feasible?

The 1st amendment protects against ALL religions, including Islam.

Removing the 1st amendment allows Islam to take over.

I must say one thing I find funny in the arguments like this is that you think the same people in congress who have allowed all these people into the country and have allowed them to do these things, which is basically treason and an invasion, are at the same time going to turn around and get rid of the 1st amendment...

And you think Christians will be the one who benefits and that it won't instead be used against you.

You know, if you would first start electing politicians who cared about the people and did the right thing, you could just deport them and stop allowing them to come here. But sure, those same people are totally going to use that law to your advantage.

It is infinitely more feasible than attacking the problem with unconstitutional laws. In fact, the administration is currently doing exactly what I proposed, while many are still here trying to argue that Islam is not a religion or that the founders only meant Christianity. Yes, Islam is more than a religion, but so are the various Christian denominations and so is Judaism. Both have been very vocal and effective as a political force.

Look for solutions to problems that will work, not ones that will cause an avalanche of unintended consequences, especially when they will only be moderately effective. Keep in mind no religion has ever been snuffed out by making it illegal to practice; it almost always makes it more militant.

Umm Poland? They have already 'nutted up'. That should be the example. Period. It is not that difficult with a modicum of common sense,

No brother, you don't understand. When I ignore the constitution it's because I have the correct motivation and want to drive out the dirty, backwards Muslims.

It's totally different than when Muslims believe they have the correct motivation and want to drive out the dirty, backwards infidels.

Nah. Dumb claim.

It has its flaws and our enemies are exploiting them.

Protects against all religions or protects all religions?

1st amendment was meant to apply to the states not the Feds. I cannot imagine them giving the Feds more power to enforce over the states like incorporating the 1st did. Both States and immigration were the checks (Thats before whether the founders considered islam to be a true religion or just a cult created by a violent psycho pedophile pushing crap he made up). Grant tried to push the Blaine Amendment, and if he had succeeded we could have been in a worse position before now. Instead the Supremes over reached using a process they got to implement and define themselves and gave us the Blaine amendment minus some additional restrictions and plus the rest of the text in the first amendment besides religion.
quote:

No State shall make any law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; and no money raised by taxation in any State for the support of public schools, or derived from any public fund therefor, nor any public lands devoted thereto, shall ever be under the control of any religious sect; nor shall any money so raised or lands so devoted be divided between religious sects or denominations.
It’s odd that the Blaine amendment was attempted after the 14th amendment was ratified and in effect since the Supremes based incorporating the 1st on the States on the 14th amendment.

Not that I ever made this argument, but this is BS on islam. It would have been outlawed or at least several restricted and a basis to not allow into the country possibly going back to Jefferson’s Presidency but not after Bush, Obama, and Biden’s Autopen waved in too many.

Again where did I make any statement about removing the first amendment? I have stated the original intention of the first amendment before the Supremes amended it. Make sure you don’t straw man things in your replies by saying I argued points that I did not. Thats weak sauce.

Another BS straw man attempt. I am all about the 1st amendment as a limitation on federal govt. Under its original intent I wouldn’t live in a state that implemented anything anti-christian while being fully protected from federal encroachment, but in that scenario I doubt even California would be as bad as it has become after taking God out of schools and the government.

crappy argument again. I do not elect anyone by myself. You also don’t know who I have voted for or my current representatives. And what law are you talking about here that elected officials would be over? Are you making up more stuff, mixing people up in thread, or mixing the Constitution and federal laws up?

All rights have limitations. Islam is more than a religion, even by their own teaching. The very name means submission.

Freedom is also limited. If not, anarchy reigns. If Islam is not stopped, it will eventually take over and no one will have freedom.

If y'all don't see how that genius strategy would set a precedent that would immediately be used in the same manner against Christianity—on the basis of Christians objecting to abortion and LGBTQ and feminism—the hot second Democrats gained power back, I don't know what to tell you.

Islam is a political ideology with political goals. It should be treated as such and no Muslims should ever hold office in the West. Only deluded virtue signalers allow them to and then will wonder why their Muslim overlords are treating them like dogs.

You think they will value the Constitution when they get power? You think they will like you because you simped on their behalf? The Constitution can be amended...just a question of who amends it. I assure you that you do not want enough Muslims in power to do so.

Close. Islam poses as a religion. It is in fact a totalitarian government system. They hide behind freedom of religion while building a totalitarian governing system. They are also allowed to lie about their intentions by taqiyya. You are seeing this in real time in the US. The US is either too late realizing this or they allowed it. You make that decision.
