You ever see those videos where a big bully goes up and tries to fight the teacher? Now imagine they get a gun at the end of that

Parkland Teacher on CNNRT says she wouldn't have felt safer if she had a concealed gun

She probably doesn't even know which end the bullets come out of. I won't hate on her for knowing her limitations.

They just don't want to admit that President Trump and the NRA are correct that arming some teachers will save lives.

Yep

Maybe she is not proficient with a firearm. Some people are just scared. However arming teachers is not a bad idea. We arm pilots today. They go through a training course and are then certified to carry a weapon onto the aircraft. This program Federal Flight Deck Officer (FFDO) was started as a result of 9-11 attacks. The numbers of pilots who have completed this program and carry is classified, but I would estimate there are thousands who have done so. If we can do this with pilots, why not have teachers do the same thing? Not every teacher, just those who want to go through training.

Hell, I wouldn't have a problem with allowing parents who want to volunteer to help guard their kid's school to be able to carry a concealed gun while guarding their kid's school.

I'm sure there are a shitload of parents who would volunteer to guard their kid's school with a concealed gun without batting an eyelash.

Maybe the big bully would think twice about trying to fight with the teacher if the big bully didn't know whether or not the teacher was carrying a concealed gun.

I can't believe 30 people downvoted parents being able to volunteer to guard their kid's school with a concealed weapon.

I guess they didn't realize I meant after the parents also took lessons in gun safety and the proper use of a gun.

After all, there are a lot of parents (especially fathers) who are veterans and they already know how to handle a gun safely and the proper use of a gun.

Then I'd guess we'd all agree she would not be one to be permitted to carry.

Additionally. You are using a government protection failure as an example as to why we should leave protection to the government. Rex...you have lost it.

Her answer is annoying because it's so dishonest.

Look. You can hate guns. You can consider yourself bad with them. You can not want guns anywhere in society.

But anyone saying, "while the shooter was shooting everyone, I wouldn't have felt safer if I was armed" is just a liar or remarkably dumb. I mean, like IQ 60 kinda dumb.

So, I don't think she's got a 60 IQ.........

I appreciate your humor but I have 30+ posters following me all over this site downvoting practically everything I post.

Hell, I even had 30+ downvotes in a help board thread I started.
