I guess my question would be is there a way to make it where there can never be more than 9 SC justices?

Congress would have to write a new law to authorize it so Republicans would also need to regain the House.

But that would only bind the Democrats until they eventually got power and just made a new law, getting rid of the old.

Damned judge packers.

Pack it with Recess Appointments. Watch the Democrats chew their arms off.

This is probably the biggest need for a constitutional amendment today.

But here is the danger, Dems want power above all else and have shown will do anything even if unethical, illegal, bad for the country, bad for citizens, evil. I am sure they have researched every way to change America, laws, policies, etc. to put them back in power and Keep them in power hence adding to the Supreme court. But once they do that, they will create laws to keep themselves in power no matter how wrong it is.
