I cannot believe that proxies of Iran will stay quiet long nor do I expect Iran to hand over dust or quit enrichment. IRGC surely won’t stop their mischief. Will 60 day period be reached ?

No. They’re going to pull some shite. This has been going on since forever. They lie to survive the day. And I believe Trump knows that, which is why he went with the deal. He’s going to bring hell fire and brimstone to the entire country. There won’t be a light left on

No chance. The IRGC is already fighting among themselves and that seems to be the strategy the Trump administration has been counting on all along.

People who deny this won't be able to explain why Trump was saying from the beginning that boots on the ground won't be necessary to achieve their objectives. The IRGC is going to consume itself, it will launch more attacks which will provoke more attacks from the US/Israel coalition and will turn the people against the regime even more.

The innocent people of Iran will be like, "wtf, we had a deal in place. Why can't you stupid fricks just take the money and rebuild this shite." But the religious nutjobs within the IRGC are now honor bound to continue their jihad no matter what.

No, the 60 days will not be reached.

If they don't then the entire country will starve to death so if they want to starve their own country then that's on them

Are yall suggesting there are strings attached to this deal being arranged for Iran that Iran won’t be able to comply with?

Have y’all vetted this with the lawyer running around here jerking himself for being some sort of genius?

I'm thinking Trump doesn't fully expect Iran to suddenly become compliant and cooperative either. The reality is midterm elections are around the corner and this Iran conflict needed to be resolved and gas prices come down.

I agree with your opinion that Iran would like to continue its mischief, but they have a huge hole to climb out of.
Much of what they've spent an estimated trillion dollars to build over the last 50ish years has been decimated and their only access to funds will be controlled(not provided) by the US and conditioned on Iran's future adherence to the peace deal.

People talk about Iran and their leverage regarding the Strait. But POTUS Trump proved the real leverage, especially after decimating their military and killing their leaders in the first 48 hours, occurred with the blockade of Iran. It caught the IRGC completely flatfooted without a response. I have to laugh every time I think about it. Absolutely brilliant!!

quote:

“Negotiating with Iran, monitoring its commitments and occasionally having to pressure the dictatorship militarily or economically is simply reality. (Remember Ronald Reagan’s advice to ‘Trust but verify’ and Connie Mack’s ‘You get what you inspect, not what you expect.’) There will be no end to the requirement to police, monitor, and occasionally penalize the religious dictatorship,” Gingrich wrote. “The leaders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps will try to push for as much influence and flexibility as they can get away with. It’s simply their nature.” .......

“President Trump steered a course between the Barack Obama-Joe Biden appeasement model and strategy which would have required a huge ground invasion,” Gingrich wrote. “He used our technological strengths in airpower and intelligence capabilities to bludgeon the religious dictatorship into positions far distant from where they were under Obama and Biden.”

The former Speaker also praised Trump’s coalition-building efforts, saying many nations have joined Washington in seeking to contain the Iranian regime and promote greater stability in the Middle East.

“President Trump has been managing a broad coalition which is committed to a more stable Middle East and is prepared to work together despite Iranian attacks,” Gingrich wrote.

It is what it is. Deal with it.
