I'm reading trump deleted the tweet because in 2016 he said he supported stop and frisk.
Then he shouldn't delete it... He already gets called a racist by everyone on the left, thus proving Bloomberg must also be a racist.

He did and I'm sure he still does support it.
I am sure it isn't the point of the tweet. Everything with Dems is racist so now they have to either defend stop and frisk or sink lil mike.
FYI: Parscale just tweeted the same video

Found it. Nothing racist in the speech. Just pragmatic law enforcement, though I personally have Constitutional concerns about Stop and Frisk. Sure, plenty of Dems will not like that he said these things.
If a republican on this level/in the same position said this, would CNN and the rest of the MSM vilify and attempt to obliterate their campaign?
Next question.
Do you think the MSM is out to get republicans and aggressively using tactics to prop up democrats using lies and all sorts of other tactics?

Ok, Let's look at exactly what was said-
"You can just take the description, Xerox it and pass it out to all cops."
"They are male, minorities, 16 to 25"
How can you say this is not racist? Isn't this racial profiling? Isn't this what the left has argued against for years?
LOL. I love what is happening. The left will bend over backwards to defend their own, even when it goes against everything they have said in the past.

quote:Well, that is not what he said.
He said you can take the description and just blanket it and use that description to stop everyone who matches it, regardless of actual suspicions just because of their age and skin color.
How is that not racist?
He,said, that most murders are committed by a certain demographic and that you can basically xerox that description and be correct 95% of the time.
Stop and Frisk is a (slightly) related topic, but distinct.
“95%” was obvious hyperbole, but still not racist.

Trump is shining a bright light on one of Bloomberg's reasonable positions.
I think it's a mistake.
Hed be better off waiting for Bloomberg to run away from the comments which he will have to do.
Then Trump can thump him for leaving a reasonable position to pander to nuts.
nope, no quarter given. i want to see the current dem field defend bloomberg over this considering their views on sanctuary cities, etc.
SPIKE THE DAMN BALL. this race is rigged against him so every option is on the table for Trump.

Yes, it is. He’s telling cops to racially profile as a standard MO. Not subconsciously but to actively do it.
If ANYONE with an R by their name said this, the normal crew would be shouting racism from the rooftops.

If Trump had said this same thing, everyone in here would say facts can't be racist. And Hank would be saying how it's not the words he said, it's the context he uses to make him sound racist.
My money is on the latter.
In the Democratic Party, what Bloomberg said is akin to wearing a white hood and burning a cross.
This hurts him big time.

quote:A few of them, sure. Just not the overwhelming percentage that everyone else here believes, though I would say that the number of outright “lies” is rather small.

It is more a matter of shading and story selection.

He didn't say that. The xerox statement was to drive home the underlying fact of criminal statistics that was used to contextualize the rest of his response, which included much more than just stop and frisk.
It's profiling. Would it be racist if he had put more police in the white neighborhoods in the bizzaro world where 95% of murder was committed by whites?

t's a mistake for Trump to criticize Bloomberg for something he was right about.
I disagree.
Trump has been called racist since he announced his nomination with zero evidence to back it up.
If we are all honest, we know if these were Trumps words, the media would be all over it and it would be played and criticized for days.
Instead, we have either
A)Liberals trying to rationalize racial profiling, which is a sound argument, but it is an argument that Republicans have made for years with Democrats completely against it.
B)Or, Liberals eating their own and calling Bloomberg a racist.
Trump can't lose on this one.
