This is why the left stole the senate and let the house go in 2022.
Long game is install these leftist loons and give the perception the house is going to do something worthwhile for conservatives

Seriously don't know the answer to this, but were his questions about these articles in the constitution pretty basic law school stuff? Would it be like asking a finance guy what a stock and bond are?
I could see an estate planning attorney not remembering all of the constitutional stuff, but I'd expect a potential judge to know this stuff.

Some PAC is actually running pro-Cassidy radio ads here in SWLA.
Touting all his “accomplishments.”
Just wasting money and airtime.

How do you conduct yourself as a judge, much less step into a hearing like that without so much as a rudimentary knowledge of the Constitution?
It's like interviewing for a job as chair of the Mathematics department but not knowing how to do division.

It’s a generational gap.
That man just insulted the living shite out of you in front of the nation on CSPAN and in front of your future colleagues and all she could do was smile and smirk about it, like she’s a functional retard. It’s not her fault she’s incompetent, she’s never been held to that standard academically nor professionally. It’s not her fault!

Explain how a member of the minority party in the Senate is supposed to "bite"? He's at his best in these committee hearings where he can attack the left's liberal nominees. He knows more about the law & budget issues than the majority of biden's nominees. Best as I can recall, no GOP Senator got one of his/her/it/them/they bills passed.

And try to deflect the question(s) by giving a word salad non-response reminiscent of a beauty pageant contestant expounding on how to cure world hunger.

I couldn’t recall Article V (amending the constitution) and don’t recall the term purposivism. I recall the concept—the idea that the effect of a statute should be determined by the purpose of the statute—but didn’t remember the name. I am not sure how important either of these questions are. I am surprised she didn’t recall Article II (powers of the executive branch). Lawyers refer to articles I-III more than the others.
