Heading into work -- a couple of obese female fatiguers were on speakerphone sitting on a bench next to a post office. They were talking with somebody about their Medicaid status and the forms involved.

That's when ol' girl throws out this line: "I don't know anything about all that (the application and/or renewal forms). Our mama had us on Medicaid since we were babies."

IDC if this is a Dear Facebook moment. This bullshite of these mf-ers getting 'free food' medical, housing from cradle to grave needs to go away.

Most ridiculous shite. Other people having to pay for their food, student loans, rent, etc.

Something tells me those young ladies weren’t in any hurry to clock in at the office. Big government entitlement from the womb to the tomb.

It's such a kick in the balls to watch my tax dollars go to "less fortunate" people who are fatter than humans have been at any time in history, only to realize my other tax dollars are going to the medical care for the health conditions of these gelatinous ogres.

"work or starve" has worked since the Jamestown colony.

we need to bring that back.

certainly, society has a moral obligation to care for the truly infirmed and orphan minor children, but otherwise, get off your fricking arse.

even if its just cleaning litter or digging ditches, make them do something

We were doomed the minute we allowed people on the government take to vote. Why should someone who produces nothing and takes from others everything they need to live get the ability to vote themselves more of other people's shite? Just imagine that in a work setting. Imagine at the end of the year, the guy who didn't show up to work a single day gets to vote himself a bigger bonus out of the profits you generated all year long.

My mom taught school in rural north Louisiana for 30 years, she said the older family members teach the younger generations how and what to do to get "FREE" everything.

It's a way of life

agreed.

unless you are current/former military, retired, or truly disabled, if you get a government benefits check, you should be barred from voting

similarly, unless you are a property owner, you should be barred from voting in property tax elections.

Yep. No production, no vote. Get your shite together and get off the government handouts and you get your vote back.

Renters pay property taxes through rent.

My Dad back in the day had a great idea (it'll never happen)
You get 1 vote for every dollar you pay in taxes. No work, means no votes. You're so wealthy you can work the system to pay no tax means no votes. The working middle class ends up getting all the votes

Well, it's not really irrelevant, especially for single family home renters. I know half of what I pay to my jeet landlord is to pay for taxes. You want me voting against every tax proposal that comes across a ballot, which I do. The jeets that own the house next door vote for every tax that has anything about a school district in it. Home owners aren't some magically fiscally conservative block as so much of this board imagines.

Major part of the reason why this situation never improves (in big terms).
Anytime somebody starts throwing out lines about "the value of school and work" -- these mf-ers start booing at their 83" TV screens.

You are a unicorn.

Owner of an 200 unit apartment complex gets one vote.

Tenants get 200 votes.

And no matter how much we complain on the internet about it, it never seems to change, and we never seem to have even a small chance of changing the paradigm.

It's very frustrating.

Ossoff is over here in Georgia running ads with Collins telling everyone to get of Social Security and get to work. He (ossoff) then goes on to say that Collins is trying to take away Georgian's retirement. Of course, idiots like these tow will believe him.

Collins wants these moochers off the government dole as they receive SS benefits for a "disability" that they don't have. He's not trying to stop the SS benefits for people that have paid into it for their entire adult life as they were part of the workforce.

I'm much more than fatigued with supporting the life-style of around 40% of the country.

It's almost like you're the slave. Time to get back to work and pay your taxes.
