Spoke with him earlier. Doctor has given him a few months to live. Hes one of my best friends and this is tearing me up.

Keep praying brother. We’ll never completely understand why God allows difficulty and tragedies in our lives but we can find comfort knowing others care for us and pray for us. The greatest comfort is the blessed assurance that all believers will inherent the Kingdom of God and there will be no more pain, no more suffering or tears....it’s what Jesus said and I believe in our Lord.
I will continue my prayers for healing and comfort to Ben and his family, with God all things are possible.

Btw, I know you all see his phone number in this image I posted of our conversation. I'm sure he wouldn't mind well wishes being sent his way via text. His wife is a wonderful woman as well and I cannot imagine her grief.
