Our congress at "work"

Illinois congresswoman calls MTG a bigot for opposing the Democrats ridiculous "equality act" and puts a transgender flag in the hallway outside her office which happens to be across from MTG's office.

MTG responds in kind by printing a big arse "there are two genders. Trust the science." sign and hanging it on the wall in the hallway.

I anticipate the response will be to praise MTG "yasss queen fight back and tell em!" but can we simply take a moment to absorb the ridiculous notion that the people governing us and crafting policy have all the emotional maturity of a Mean Girls film.

1- Of course it's ridiculous.
2- I still support MTG for doing what she did.
I tend not to get mad at counter punch boxers when they dodge a punch and return fire. You want to stop getting stupid things done in response to stupid things...stop doing stupid things to start with, then there will be no response to them.

I mean I tend to lean towards stoop to their level and play their games at this point. Sick of the Republicans who want to say "well we have norms and we've got to be bigger" and act like the media will respect them for it. At the same time, it's all so ridiculous that we're here. Imagine being a taxpayer from one of these districts paying for tranny flags and there are two gender signs. And we wonder why congress doesn't give a shite about being reckless with money.
