The majority of them are lying. A significant portion may stay home, but the entire message of the DeSantis online surrogates has been "Trump can't win the general, vote for this guy with less support who can."

If you look at other polls for Florida, the percentage of Republicans who will vote for Biden is higher if Meatball is the nominee than if it's Trump.
