I don't really want him negotiating their war in the first place.

He's the one who claimed he would do it. I didn't make him say it.

Likewise, I'm not the one who posted your OP calling people names if they don't agree that Trump can negotiate anything and implying he's never failed when he has an obvious gigantic turd of a negotiation failure on his resume.

We weren't "in that war," and of course we had a choice.

Obviously we did and still do. It's still going on and we're letting it go on.

Hell, we're still sending them aid under Trump.

Well bud the title if the thread is that Trump is the greatest negotiator in history. He shouldn't have to force anything out of Zelensky. He should just be able to negotiate it right?

It doesn’t take great negotiating skill to resolve an issue when you posit 4-5 different successful resolutions.

Unconditional surrender
Regime change
Destroy their nuclear capability
Open the SOH

excuse me

who said that was ok???

It is in this thread a few posts back and yet, nobody but me mentioned it or reported it.

That is actual legal slander. Yet, nobody on this thread feels compelled to right that statement.

If it fails, it's because Trump will not allow them enrichment and control of the strait.

If that happens, will he still be the greatest negotiator in history?

Their ambitions? We obliterated their nuclear capabilities last year. How do we calculate setting back an ambition?

To suggest otherwise was heresy

Already answered. They had sites we didn't know about so last year was not the set back this one was

quote:

Key Findings on Secret/Hidden Iranian Nuclear Sites:

Undisclosed Storage Locations: While Fordow and Natanz were targeted, reports indicate much of Iran's 60% enriched uranium was likely moved to less-exposed, possibly secret or newly constructed, deep underground tunnels.

Isfahan Tunnels: Underground tunnels at the Isfahan Nuclear Technology Center became a key focus for suspected storage of highly enriched uranium following the strikes.
Pickaxe Mountain Site: Satellite imagery has highlighted construction at a site known as "Pickaxe Mountain," which was not destroyed and is believed to house an advanced centrifuge assembly facility.

Taleghan 2: A weaponization site known as Taleghan 2, which was not targeted in June 2025 but was damaged in late 2024, has been identified as having new construction related to potential nuclear weapon development.

Survival of Assets: Despite the damage to major facilities like Natanz and Fordow, expert analysis, as discussed in and reported by, suggests that significant centrifuge components and materials were moved to clandestine locations before or during the attacks

We never had to be on a position to do this in the first place. So Trump and Bibi start shite this time.....unprovoked, Trump figures this will be an easy out in 2-3 weeks keeps bombing, the Iranians put up a fight, Trump has to extricate himself or Republicans are going to turn on him.

We've lost so much prestige and trust with so many of our allies with all of this. All because we HAD to believe Bibi. We've blown dollars and munitions. Both of which we did not need to expend.

Trump and the US did not win this, but we did not exactly lose it either. We are back to status quo ante. Trump can gloat, but the mullahs are still in charge in Iran. Iran is still going to export oil and the ChiComs will benefit......and we'll underwrite it.

No one won on the chess board, no one lost, either
