How many “boys sports” are there where a girl is capable of competing at the same level?
Only one I remember in my HS days was golf. She was also an incredible golfer and there weren’t enough other females to make a team so she was allowed to compete with the boys.
Outside of that, you MIGHT occasionally get a girl wanting to play football but the Holly Mangolds of the world are few and far between. They are mainly kickers if they participate and they don’t even have to do football in HS to qualify for a spot in college if they already play soccer and are good at it.

Funny how they're able to walk the line of "there's no trans athletes so it's unnecessary" and "trans rights is the biggest issue of our current times"
Good point.

You might be wrong. This is probably an issue where the Black caucus might at the very least split.
Overall, black folks are much more visceral about tranny issues as well as issues pertaining to homosexuality.
They don't go for none of that sweet stuff.

My point is that it’s not very often the Louisiana legislature actually gets ahead of a potential problem. I’m willing to let them get this done.
Louisiana: We aren't proactive about roads, schools, businesses, industry, environment, utilities, storm protection, or any issues that impacts everyday life.
But a tranny boy might try to compete in girls high school swimming? Not on my watch! We gonna make sure that NEVER happens!!!

Right on. They were batting .000 and now they're up to .042

But you are using that as a reason not to be proactive about this important issue. A logical opinion would be to use this example of being proactive to push being proactive on those other important issues.
But, it’s obvious what you are really doing.

OK... their natural birth.
Is that better?
You know what I meant.

Well... I guess a broken clock is right twice a day, eh?
It just seems... odd... that the issue that impacts the fewest people is the one that they decide to start being proactive on.

Sex? Gender?

It impacts young women…50% of our youth.
The irony is you are begging the legislature to not do anything in an attempt to benefit a much smaller segment, the trannies.

I don't even think about it.
Everyone knows what the terms mean.
Their sex. Their gender. Their natural birth. Their birth category. Whether they have a penis or a vagina.
IT ALL MEANS THE SAME DAMN THING.

If theres no trannies in louisiana, then the bill does no harm

How many LOUISIANA high school athletes are competing against trannies? How many?
I am asking the legislature not to meddle in the affairs of a private organization.
I AM asking the LHSAA to CONTINUE the ban on tranny athletes.
See how that works?

unnecessary because there are no known trans athletes in Louisiana.
How can this be? Is there something about the "trans" phenomenon that is geographically determinative?

So then it's a completely useless law.
More "small government" amiright?

The LHSAA governs sports in both private and public schools. I don't want my high school daughter playing ball against 18 y.o. young men with beards and external gonads. The legislature is doing a good thing here.

People pushing the trans-cult are mentally ill.
So most Democrats you've ever met in your life.
That's how bad the Left has gotten. Dudes in make-up are now women, and they will try to extend Civil Rights protections to them soon.
Pure evil.

Tell us again how you, a small government conservative, support the government interfering in private matters through federal laws like the ADA and civil rights act.

Yeah. People who don't think about it use the term "birth category" instead of sex or gender.
People who don't think about it sit on a message board running defense for transgender rights in high school athletics.
