I think the Mods do a good job of finessing the line
I don't agree with that.
I read your argument very carefully, but, I remain unpersuaded.
Political Talk should enforce its own written rule on this issue OR abolish the rule.

GOD uses prayer to align you to HIS will
That sounds nothing like what's described below.
"He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”

Let’s be as pragmatic as we can about it. Living your life by the tenants of Christianity gives you a good anchor in life, a way to act, something to believe in, something to look forward to. It’s a great way to live and if we are wrong and there isn’t anything after this then we will never ever know. Seems like a solid hedge
Every time I explain this ^^^ to non believers they seem uncomfortable, they don't like it.
The worst case scenario for a devout Christian is you lived a very responsible and respectful life and the lights simply go out and you know nothing, or you take your last breath and you're welcomed into the Kingdom. The worst case scenario for a non believer is very unpleasant and eternal.

While it might seem nice to give a 6 year old who died a free ticket to Heaven, the vast majority of the world must be saved in order to get into Heaven. That creates another, similar, inconsistency. Why does one soul get a free pass but another must run the gauntlet where they have an 80%+ chance of going to Hell? Because God gave a child leukemia? Or because a child was killed in a drive by?
Children have the innocence of the lamb. Not knowing right from wrong. Until they are aware of good and bad, and the understanding of faith.

Keep an open mind, you'll know everything about it about a millionth of a second past your last breath. The experiences are universal and infinity beyond the human imagination. There has never been anyone who had an near death experience that doesn't know that there is a God. And their concept of God is always far beyond what any religion in this world would reveal.

This confuses me, though, because what about those who claim they went to hell but weren’t given the chance for redemption?
I’m really hoping for some insight from fellow Christians, as my faith has been wavering lately.
If they've seen their fate and returned, claiming they have no second chance they're not seeing their chance.
To find your weakness you have to share your weakness. This means those you trust to confide in. And those you trust to guide you true.
By expressing your doubts, others may be able to share their guidance with you, or as happens, the answers come to you as you voice the problems.
It's my belief that there are moments between when the body lets go, before the spirit leaves. It's in those moments when the spirit has its last change to embrace the strength of faith and belief from life, or succumb to fear and doubt.

A relationship with God isn't a team sport. It's an individual choice. Hope you make the right one.

You weren't referencing a relationship with God, you were referencing non-believers as a group as opposed to believers as a group.
Your words, not mine.

Wrong. If we are born sinful by nature and deserve hell then you should have no qualms with the fact that toddlers who die have a worse fate ahead of them than Auschwitz.

Mkay.
So.
If we are born deserving of eternal torment, why are we even born at all?

Not to quibble but it is both an individual choice and a team sport.
Once you make the choice, you are on the team and the team is much more powerful than the individual.
“I pray that you may be as one” JC at last supper.
“Pray for one another “ “the prayers of a righteous man are very powerful” James
We are one body in Christ and we do not stand alone.

Adam ate an apple 6k years ago so everyone ever born deserves hell.

I've always thought Pascal's Wager was one of the most effective and reasonable defenses of God and Christianity.

Christianity is good enough in that even if all of the supernatural of it was all BS, the tenets are a good way to live life and treat your fellow man. It is vastly superior to Islam. I am very grateful we have it in the English speaking parts of the world.
Personally, I believe people make mistakes but I don't think people need saving. Sure, there are moral failures but they can be fixed. There is ultimately no such thing as "sin" as defined by the western church. That's a control mechanism for the masses.
If you have IQ level 100 or more, you can figure out how to conduct yourself without that kind of control. Anyways, you were fine before you got here and you will be fine afterwards wherever and whatever that is. This is just my opinion and I do not want anyone to leave their church over what I think.
