I would think the plan to be use the military to cut off the supply line to those here.
Having a physical presence on the border is good. I'm not going to argue otherwise. But we're playing catch up to their methods.

Then move on camps here. Big operations of growing etc are here.
Locally we've got the cartels up in the Sierras that have operations set up. Generally speaking we find the camps after they've closed them up. I know they have operations up in NorCal too and they probably have them very close to where most of you live too.

Have ice snatch them up in cities.
I think ICE can play a big role in helping to root out some of the problem. But there are locals that are working for the cartels too.

It would be quietly done. Trump isn't going to kill innocent people.

The buck stops with the American people. I'm at a point were I think we need to just stop handing narcan out like candy and let the drugs sort the weak people out. Drug abusers aren't victims. They're complicit in making cartels rich.
Agreed. Let nature run it's course and quit protecting people from themselves.

That's not gonna happen, but getting them back to being the ones selling them will be a win.

Right. I'm not picturing this:
But innocents will die. Collateral damage happens no matter how much we'll try to prevent it. Mistakes will be made too where we have bad intel. We're human and it comes with the territory.

Seriously, how does anyone think this is a good idea? What, in the history of the War on Drugs, has proven to be good for the average US citizen?
I was shaking my head reading through this thread.... Same old argument, "its not that the government failed, its that we didnt use enough government."

Big gov't is OK as long as it's OUR big gov't.
Just to sum up, we will have an impenetrable border wall and the United States military actively combating the 'cartel members' on domestic soil and the seals are applauding. Remember when the COVID camps was a joke? Sounds like we are getting a real life prison camp.

Always the case, it seems. Freedom doesnt really seem to popular anymore as long as youre in power.

Look a moron that has a problem with us taking out cartels and putting them in prison, or camps if you want to call it with. Why do you lefty losers always want to protect criminals?
And you are also a moron for comparing people who didn't want to get an experimental shot to cartels? What a fricking idiot.

Watched an interview with a former Special OPs Guy.
He said that the Cartels have no clue what they are in for if Trump turns Specials Forces loose on the Cartels.
He said Cartel should retire immediately because they are F'd.
If it is that easy then why wasn't it done years ago, and why didn't Trump do it in his first term ?

It is more than you think.
There are banking and financial impacts of doing so. Also, a little place called GITMO has a lot of beds open.
Terrorists do not have due process rights like normal criminal defendants would.
