Anyone who says cultist is a fricking idiot and should be ignored. Being steadfast in one's beliefs dont make you part of a cult. Stop it. Get some help

No, the thing is, the other ones actually know the voting public - especially the vast majority of Republican voters - don’t like that shite.

Let him continue. This site , which discusses more politics than normal people, are being turned off on DeSantis because of idiots like him and Jon ham. It’s hilarious they’ve done more harm than good.

Win what? THe primary? I want everyone's policies on the table so they can be debated over, and so that the wheat is separated from the chaff.

quote:

Dessntis has ran the worst campaign ever and you will never criticize the guy.

Well, you can believe what you want to believe, or look up my post history. I've talked on here many times how i wish his campaign would have gotten off stronger and that he has a lot of ground to make up. I also stated that the debate was not a strong performance from him and he needs to just be himself and not worry about how he comes off form the cameras. The fake smile gif that keeps going around is a hilarious example of someone that looks incredibly uncomfortable. However, i support policies over words. So, until the primary is over, unless he comes out and says the polar opposite to what he's been campaigning on and goes against him, i will support him. I will not make up lies about his opponents to try and bolster "my guy" even if i know it's a lie. Can you say the same? No, you can't.

In fact, have you ever criticized Trump on anything he's done? Because any criticism we make, no matter how valid, is met with rabid attacks from you and the other OnlyTrump cultists. Trumps fumbling around Fauci, his interview with Bair that was a disaster, all you guys defend it to the hilt, or provide absure whataboutisms to hide your own would be criticisms of him.

Trump has many legitimate areas of concern and anytime they are brought up, you guys defend and divert. Why? I've specifically asked you if you wanted to make a separate thread to discuss policy and likes/dislikes thereof for each candidate and you backed out each time with a "i'm not going to waste my time..." excuse.

I have valid reasons for preferring DeSantis over Trump. You have promoted lies about anyone that doesn't bend the knee to Trump. DeSantis, Youngkin, McEnany, Ellis, etc... Anyone that stands apart from Trump, you attack. How is that not cult like behavior?

And you and the like are turning people onto Trump?

Explain how i'm turning people off of DeSantis? What specifically am i saying about DeSantis that is untrue? Provide the quote so we know you aren't lying again like saying i'm upvoting my own posts.

Agreed. Trump isn't a belief, he's a person. Creating multiple lies about anyone that isn't in lockstep for Trump is presenting cult like behavior. I'm sorry you don't like it, but it's true.

Definitely found some flip flops in Vivek's policy statements. He has great sound bites and comes up with great answers/ explanations at a rapid fire pace (kind'a like Bill Clinton)

They are? Then why are you guys calling him a WEF RINO stooge? Is Trump also a WEF RINO stooge then? You see, this is where your hypocrisy starts creeping back on to you.

Remember when everyone said Trump was just grifting, and his real intent was to use the fake 2016 campaign to start his own media & news empire?

Trump's grift was far better for the country than life time politicians.

Now Vivek is being cast as the grifter, huh?

Really. Hmmm

If I thought Vivek was actually trying to become the POTUS I would agree with you, but that's why I put it in quotes.

He's pumping and dumping Axovant stock, not actually running for POTUS.

Maybe that's because he's already made approximately $40,000,000 from his pump and dump maneuvers.

Many people who will slam him for random things in here probably agree with a lot of what he said.

His description of the managerial class and its impact on organizations is absolutely genuine and clearly based on his own experience.

He's not partisan enough for partisan politics. He seems like the guy that would believe what he believes even if 10 years from now the parties switched their ideological platforms and suddenly he was a Democrat based on our need to label. That is where his tribalism comments ring true.

I vaguely remember the MSNBC and CNN's saying this.

quote:

Now Vivek is being cast as the grifter, huh?

Well, it's because he has his own words and past that cement this point.

His Soros scholarship that he tried to hide.
Roivant Sciences
Hiring Democrats on the board of Roivant Sciences including Tom Daschle
His entaglement in the industrial medical complex with his multiple companies. Axovant being one.
His own writings on January 6th
Protecting Juneteenth and then 5 days later slamming Juneteenth

And one of my bigger problems from the debate, is that he says plenty of things that are "red meat" but not based on anything that can practically or realistically be done.

Oh i agree with his words. He is very much a good talker and i stated several times on here, it's easy to fall for his words. I'm concerned about what is behind those words.

What did he say?

He's not partisan enough for partisan politics. He seems like the guy that would believe what he believes even if 10 years from now the parties switched their ideological platforms and suddenly he was a Democrat based on our need to label.

One of my gripes with him has to do with what i believe is one of the biggest problems in this country. It's the corporatocracy specifically dealing with the medical/pharmaceutical community, a community that he's been elbow deep in that he has specifically engaged in trying to be a part of the kleptocracy.

1) the same donors that you guys posted about "abandoning him" because he took their money but didn't change any of his stances, like with abortion and Ken Griffin, for a specific example?
2) So you are posting lies about DeSantis, and your admitting it but i'm the hypocrite? Explain that in detail.

No, i'm bringing up specific points and counterpoints. You avoid any direct subject debate in any thread, really. Why is that?
