Those are northeastern liberals that fled the destruction their voting habits created. No different than the Villages area of FL. Voted liberal their whole life and then fled when it was time to retire. But, too stupid to change. I wish they would go home.

It’s such a shame that area has been taken over by old hippies.
Asheville proper is a sad place and has been for about 15-20 years now - the NC Smokies however are still incredibly outstanding -

The hippy segment of Boomers which Asheville attracts. They are no where near the majority of Boomers but they like to act like they’re doing something even though they aren’t. I have a couple of them in my neighborhood. One puts stupid signs in their yard.

You are out of your mother fricking lying mind! I personally had a large presence there immediately after the storm as disaster response. I had setups from Canyon (E of Ashville) to Hendersonville, and everywhere in between. Things were tough and then Trump flew into Arden airport and the entire operations status went thru the roof. And after he won, things jump started immediately. Dems left those people to die basically. FEMA was a puss poor nightmare before Trump hung his foot in their arse. I work above, for, and thru agencies like fema during responses...this is the absolute worst execution I've ever seen by any federal body, before Trump came in.
There were some good locals, but by and large it was and is the most worthless population I've worked with as far as pulling themselves together and getting to work rebuilding. Very wierd group of helpless self pity citizens.

This is what happens when USAID money laundering to Dem Orgs stops and they can no longer pay protesters. Only old white people show up. They only have enough to pay tic toc influencers now lol
