Yep. When dictatorships take over, one of the first things that happens is that all history is erased. If people are ignorant of the past, they can't learn from it. I think that's the general idea, anyway. That, and they don't want anyone being recognized but themselves.

What's incredible about this situation in America, is that we don't have a dictator in the oval office. But he (Trump) is surrounded by so many deranged wannabe dictators, that all of this is being allowed to happen.

But, the important thing that I keep reminding myself, is that we're just seeing the craziest of the crazies, and they are the minority. Come November, we're going to see the backlash hit the Democrats in the face. And, I do believe that since Trump took office, we've been witnessing a slow unmasking of the underbelly of Washington, that many of us refer to as the deep state (I clarify the meaning of deep state because someone recently was very confused and seemed utterly clueless as to what the DS is).

I know we all want to see everyone arrested at once, but just like a sting operation, you don't want to blow your cover until you have enough information on the top targets of your investigation. When that is accomplished, there is going to be retribution for all that we are seeing now.
