Pence was just asked about doing this on a national level and he sort of gave a non answer but hinted the CDC will be issuing additional guidance tomorrow.

Asked whether restaurants and curfews should happen nation-wide, Pence said updated guidelines would be issued on Monday. Fauci later added, “We’ll consider anything and everything on the table.”

So when are they going to close churches?

There would be a significant difference between “guidance” and destroying businesses

the Nashville mayor is asking all downtown bars to close and restaurants operate at 50% capacity.

Steve Smith, one of the big players down on lower Broadway, says not so fast Mayor

I’m not a fan. This should be up to patrons.

But I do think the state should implement strict sanitation rules for establishments that remain open.

Like frequently sanitizing door handles and games and such.

How about bringing your own sanitizer wipes with you and disinfecting the places you are going to put your hands on instead? Have you been to a grocery store in the last couple of days? Businesses don't have enough people hired to deal with the overwhelming customer demand as is. They don't have time for employees to wipe down everything in the store 50 times a day.
